Driven by a desire to move away from consumable content, and bring engineering excellence to a wide audience, Paul Mahy-Rhodes began to design the Cayman S/E as a design demonstration, with the end goal being full production of a lightweight Lotus chassis based Porsche 550 Spyder evocation, utilising an air-cooled powertrain.
